Hi, ty for your message to answer your questions my marriage is legal I have a marriage book. I do have some reservations of course I would be lying if I said I didn't. Arab men like respect but I have seen double standards. I have seen a man standing by a TV remote but make his sister get it for him I questioned this and was told his sister is happy to get it. ?? . I also know of a young woman divorced by her husband for having stretch marks from child birth. She is now a shamed woman left with a young child. So please don't go into a marriage with your eyes closed. Not all but there is a lot of men who treat women badly and in every country not just the arab world. But it's harder if you are in a foreign country with no family or friends.

Many men don't allow women to leave the house. They have been brought up to be put on some kind of a pedestal it's a shame they don't do the same with women. My husband is a good man he treats me with respect like I said so far we are happy if things change I will be the first to post on here.. ty
