Did I do wrong ?

I told my boyfriend what I thought about him showing me the other girls messages. I think he did it to hurt me. We have had problems. I told him about himself and it was bad. Did I make a mistake in losing my temper? He told me we are done now and he will have someone soon to help him forget me. He said preferable from his country too
