Jessica I truly wish you well in your life and future happiness with Mohamed but this forum is headed up "Advice to Non-Muslim Women Against Marrying Muslim Men". Of course there are happy stories which lead to "and they lived happily ever after" but as previously stated by other members these people are just getting on with their lives and do not have to justify their happiness to others online or otherwise. There are good men all over the world some muslim and some not but there are also a lot of nasty men, again some muslim and some not, trying to make a better life for themselves and will use any girl/woman to get what they want. We have different morals to them - this is quite obvious. My ex Turkish husband sat next to me watching a programme on TV called "Turkish Love Rats", he berated such men but turned out to be one himself. I did not meet him online, I checked (or thought I did) him out, his family (who were all in on it) and did my utmost to supposedly secure that he was a decent man - alas no! I could write a book! As you said no one knows what will happen in any relationship irrespective of culture, creed etc but if this forum helps just 1 woman not suffer as others have on here then I think we have achieved something. This is not bashing you truly, you are in a happy place (I hope?!) but unfortunately there is a very large percentage of men who will do anything to better their own lives and that of their families and "other women" at the expense of ruining someone else. And after the fallout it depends on how strong the women in question are to get over it and move forward to a better future. I am fortunately one of those but to say it has been easy would be an understatement. No girl or woman should suffer at the hands of these utterly devious / fraudulent beings - I will not call them men because they are not! If I called them what I really wanted to this post would not be printed! Say no more................
