A bit confusing here.

Dear Jae,

Is he a Muslim?There are Christians in Egypt too.If he is a Muslim and is already married( that's what I gathered here) mind well a Muslim can have 4 wives officially and many concubines.They generally don't have these many since they can't afford.If he is married to one,what's your position going to be?Are you ready?Why can't he divorce his wife in a dignified manner and then think of a relationship let alone a marriage?

If he has already divorced his wife,is he marrying you on a rebound?Please URGENTLY buy Rosemarie Sookhdeo's Stepping Into The Shadows online ( a British lady who has immense experience with such marriages between Non-Muslim women and Muslim men).This is a very useful book.Just don't let him know,since if he is sincere it will hurt him and if he is cheating you,he will either continue cheating you with beautiful words,deeds and promises ( a form of deception permitted in their holy book) or play victim to get sympathy from you.

Don't let your heart rule over your head.Promises can be given.Guarantees can't be.

Never marry in a mosque.These marriages are not legal and should they break,the woman has no recourse to alimony and at times the children are snatched away.
