Sorry. They look at age differences. A major concern is that he will become a dependent on US government. He would have to show that he has a job there and a sufficient income. I assume you did not petition on the I-130 form. I purposely shut mine down because he would have been a dependent on me even after going through the whole process. Very expensive. Plus that is NOT what I signed up for when I went there. I too am older than him. They are very strict because he could claim asylum... Many schemes can happen....sorry to tell you this. I feel for you but better to let go now. I have to tell you truth and also embassy knows every trick in the book and they actually are protecting you. Good luck but I would not go over there. Very dangerous now for us citizens.
