Thanks so much for your comment. I was thinking along similar lines.

I totally agree that this is not the forum to be bragging about the very odd chance of a working relationship between a Muslim man and a Western, Non-Muslim woman. Fact is; in MOST cases, it does NOT work. Why boast about a relationship with someone you have not met, have only just met, or just married? You still have not had enough time with the person - it's still in the honeymoon phase. It can take years for married partners to REALLY know each other. In the case of Muslim men, things usually change after the green card or citizenship is issued.

I don't see the point of boasting about your "perfect relationship" when so many ladies here are hurting from these abusive sewer rats. Many are trying to extricate themselves from these bad and impossible affairs.
This kind of relationship should not be encouraged, for all the many reasons we have mentioned, ad nauseam.

Some of us have moved on and are having kinder relationships with more suitable partners...definitely not the sewer rats. It has been advised here, on many occasions, to find a man/woman from your own ilk. You have a much better chance of it working.

So braggers, we are happy that you have beaten the odds, so far. However, please be more sensitive to the feeling of others. I communicate with some of the ladies away from this forum and their hurt, frustration and pain are real.
