Algerian husband insist on going to dinner at Moroccan friends house, I think something is up...

Hey everybody : ) I'm back after 7 years, I used to be a major poster here when I first married my Algerian hubby (hey S_T_ Luigi, you may remember me : ) ) for me my marriage was a success BUT lots of red flags..what I'm going thru now, and I need your advice: My Algerian hubby has a Moroccan friend w/ a beautiful wife. He insist we go to dinner constantly at their house and I HATE it!! They simply talk their own language, leaving me completely out of the convo. Is it possible my hubby is attracted to her? Of course her cooking skills are superb, is it normal for her to make favorite dishes for my husband??!! me thinks something shady is being planned. I can't get out of this dinner, what do I do?

So happy to be back on this board, I luv giving advice, especially since I was new to marrying a Muslim man.
