it is hard to think clear when they are manipulating your emotions. They know just what buttons to push and you brain goes into cognitive dissonance.... That is when you believe something and your brain knows the truth. You brain is in conflict. That is where he wants it to be. for example he cannot be cheating on you and loving you at the same time. NOT LOVE. I had cognitive dissonance for about a year so I am not judging. Also went into denial. And also too dopamine chemicals are released in your brain during the golden love bombing stage. Like a drug addiction. But when you set your mind to stop this and maintain your self esteem by COMPLETELY and I mean COMPLETELY blocking him from you by going no contact. It will settle all this down....then after 3 months or so you will definitely see that you do not want him. You want someone better who you can trust. About 4 months no contact...you gonna feel even better. It is tough to do for the 1st month or 2 but oh it is well worth it. I been where you are and believe me this works.
