Moving on from breakup

Ollie, it does get easier but I know how you feel... I felt exactly the same way after my last breakup... to be honest with you the only healer is time... and the only way to speed up the process is by cutting all contact... that includes checking up on him and his intimate life... let them have him... you can do better... you'll only end up hurting yourself... he will come crawling back... they all do... doesn't mean they love you it's called the male ego... they see us women as their rightful property... like an old car... don't try to relight an old candle....

Take a vacation, start the new year afresh, work on yourself... cry... release the pain at gym or go running.... talk to someone about it... memories are the most painful thing ever, more than death... and that's because beautiful moments only happen once and can never be relived in their original form... so just think of why it ended... better now than later, cause later you'd be even more attached... and let's face it most of these pairings do end eventually.... if not now then next year or next month they usually go sour because the differences are too much to handle... once the lust dies they realise it's just not gonna work... not everyone gets their Disney ending... it's usually more Tim Burton... lol...

It sounds harsh but he's replaceable... no you won't find another him... he's unique... but you will find someone better... you met him for a reason... he was a chapter in your life... and the one thing that will REALLY help is finding someone new... but not straight away cause you'll hurt yourself and you'll hurt the rebound... so just wait it out and honestly these are the only ways....
