You can try your consulate

Dear Melissa,
I don't know why you are saying "it's already late for you".It IS easier said than done but if you harden your resolve,you can do it,that is get out if you wish.I suggest approaching your consulate for help.They can talk to the police and help you out.Approaching the police might help too but they may shrug it off as a personal matter.

You are a typical woman- loving, trusting and have given yourself to him.Most women are maternal like this--forgiving faults all the time at their own cost.Don't utter a naked threat,quietly get out and get in touch with your consulate or the police.This iron grip needs to be broken.You are British and in a European country.I assume you are working and additionally a woman.Rest assured you are stronger than men.You just don't know it.Even if a woman is carrying a man's child,it's possible to get out,seek help and stay safe.Marriages finalzed in a mosque are not legal in England(at least).Should the marriage collapse, the woman thus married has no control over the custody of the child and no alimony is given.There is a saying in India- as a situation demands,one has to be tougher than a thunderbolt and softer than a flower.

Be strong.If you still stuck,get out.On the other hand, if you decide to continue you might suffer.
