Amy,

Turkish men aren't usually the most religious, although I've heard they're quite jealous and have double standards when dealing with the opppsite sex... sooo your main concern here isn't Islam, but rather the usual guy issues like is he using me for sex/money, will he cheat etc. And also what you expect from the relationship. Really, men aren't all that different no matter where they're from, some just happen to be more old fashioned than the rest, so just use your intuition. All I can say from reading your note, Amy, is to know your worth and tread carefully. But if you're having fun then great.

If he's Kurdish then that's a whole new topic... lol
