No,young lady you are not a fool but he is using you.You being compassionate and like all women maternal,fell into this trap.Now change all the contact details he has about you.If needed contact the police if he knows your address ( home/office) and inform them about the possibility of harassment.
No more communication and don't even show him how much you are hurt.Some of the cheats ask for "one last meeting" and physically harm the gullible woman.So stop right there.
