Good Questions. We are actually just having a normal ceremony in Egypt for his family. I am not converting to Islam and his family is well aware of that fact and they are okay with it. His family has several inter-faith marriages already. I am planning on doing the whole white dress, vow re-commitment ceremony. We've already been married in a Mosque here in the US anyways. This is really more about doing something that his family can all be at because we're all pretty close and I feel that they were left out and I was left out of having a dress, haha. I'm sorry if I made it seem we were having a Muslim ceremony.

We don't have any children right now, but I did tell him that I plan to raise my children as Muslim. However, my husband is very "lax" on his religion. He has gone to the Mosque only twice since we married, and that was to arrange our marriage there. He is Muslim, don't get me wrong. But he is the kind of Muslim as I am Christian. I believe in God, I just don't really follow a church or feel that are the "rules" are truly applicable for 2016. He is much the same way.

We don't plan to remain there, although I know sometime in our future we may move back. I think for his sake we should at least move back to take care of his parents before they pass. He doesn't like to think about that, but they are both getting older. I want him to be able to be with them more than twice a year. His parents will spend only a month out of the year here staying with us.. and We can only stay there for 3 weeks a year. So it's really not a lot when you consider how close they are.
