stick to what's close and what you know

The difference is like night and day. Find a nice, decent local guy, if you want some one, and take it slow and get to know him. I can't believe what a relief it has been dating someone (in real life!) and not having to wonder on such doubts of is he using me just for a green card? Should I travel across the globe to meet him? Is this all a scam? Sure, there are plenty of local men who could be jerks, but dating and relationships are complex enough, why throw ulterior motives of opportunistic green card hunters into the mix? Plus the disinhibition of being online??

Just no. I wish I would have never wasted such time. So much better to stick with real life. For me, I'm loving it and am happy again. Hope you all will be too.
