Just my opinion

I hate being negative but it's really just me being cautious. On one hand I'd say until he gives you a reason to not trust him then carry on with your online friendship...safely...BUT once he says you're the ONLY one he talks to, that's not right. Unless he elaborates on why he says that. I'm sure by now you've gotten past the state where you can tell what he means and how he means it when you talk since it's been 9 months.

You can't be the only person or female he talks to and to say that is misleading. If you feel like you have to look for alternate accounts then that should alarm you right there. Why did you feel like you needed to look? Plus his name is pretty common so maybe it's not him. Anyone, male or female who claim to only speak to YOU isn't being truthful. That's just my opinion.
