Responding to Blog about My experience with Turkish Muslim Man

To the woman that wrote this blog:

Hi, my name is Ellen and I'm responding to your blog you wrote

. First off, I want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you as a woman to reach for help and submit this in addition to giving details. I can't imagine how you must feel and I think it is absolutely wonderful that you started therapy and talking about this. You need to get out of this marriage ASAP trust me.

I too was with a Turkish Muslim Man and recently got out because of the exact same things you wrote. Trust me it WILL get worse and this is who they are and yes it is ingrained in them. My man was so loving, sweet, romantic, oh absolutely amazing then during Ramadan he changed. It was like he was constantly preaching to me, he can only love Allah, I'm an American and not a true Muslim, I don't speak Turkish, then this really mean side came out reminded me of Israeli men since I've been to Israel (extremely controlling and always right) Then it got worse and worse. I also got threapy and got strong enough to get out of the relationship and I'm so proud of myself. I think it would have soon turned not only mentally abusive, but physically.

Nobody should be treated like this. Please please please get out now and never ever ever let him know you wrote this. Remember to delete everything. I really hope you get out because I think your life and your children's lives could be in danger like mine.
