Gina, please don't beat yourself up for still loving this man. It is completely natural to feel this way. I am so proud of you for coming back to the states when you felt you were being mistreated, you did the right thing. What I've learned in my time on this earth, is that people will treat you how you let them. I am estranged from my son now, because he does not know the value of respect. That, besides trust, is the most valuable commodities you posess as a woman, as a human being. If you feel that there has been no real change, do not go back to purgatory just to have someone. You will have who God wants you to have, I'm learning that as well. What we can do is pray for God's discernment, strength and wisdom. Let's make a pact that we will do this together.
