Confused:

First of all, you made the mistake of rushing into the relationship with the Algerian man. It happened too fast after you moved out with someone you were attached to.

Second, him pushing the idea of marriage (and I suspect the pace of the relationship to begin with) is a sign of a VISA marriage scam.

Third, you were definitely right to leave someone like that. And as other testimonies show, there's no promise he'd be okay with you being Christian, but the children being Muslim would not be negotiable.

Yes, you made the right choice. It's possible whatever you had with the Algerian man wasn't even real and, it sounds like you are putting your child first.
