Do I have reason to be worried

Hello I have been talking to a Muslim man for over 2 years. We are now talking about meeting. We will not stay together. We want to meet to get to know each other. He says if everything works out between us after meeting a few times that he wanted me to seriously consider moving to his country and becoming his wife. His family and friends are aware of our relationship and mine are too

. I came here because I know the two of us are different in many ways and I'm concerned. Can a marriage between us work out if we decide on marriage later on? He has never asked me for anything except for us to meet to really know each other. He always calls me when he says he will. I see him on Skype. We talk as much as we can but I know you really never know someone unless you spend time with them. After reading all these stories I wonder if he and I have a chance to make a marriage work. If we decide to get married.
