Algerian scammer?

Hello, I'm 47 years old and there's a 25 year old Algerian wanting me to get involved with him. I look to be in my early 30's but the fact is I'm not. I don't see American men wanting to be serious with a woman this much older than them. I haven't met him or gave him anything. I don't have any intentions of helping him come to the USA. I know the answer myself . I suppose I want to hear it from an outsider. He's trying to scam me right?
