My Egyptian husband could sometimes hit his mother on the arm (not much, but it could), when he was annoyed. She told me: you see, it hit me. He had a strange relationship with the family, they often quarreled when we lived in Cairo with his family. Once he took the knife, when arguing with his father, and he's a little nicked his skin !!! Perhaps he wanted to scare them! But he did not want to kill myself, I think. He manipulated his family as well. I think they are cursed because of money possible, since he did not have a permanent job. He worked in show business and regarded himself as a super star and dreamed of being a great dancer. Lol.

She was very afraid that he will be able to hit me, but honestly, he did it, I still feel ashamed, my mother and close friends do not know about, it's one of the reasons I came back home in Russia.
