PS...We can only meet if he finds a way to come to this country on a visit visa or other visa, (obviously not marriage visa as we haven't met) I refuse to leave the country to meet him anywhere. So he has to come here. He wants to take an exam related to his professional field that will allow him to transfer his college degree to the US. Per the exam's website, if he is here on a visit visa and needs to stay longer to take the exam, he can receive permanent status for the exam...in which case he wouldn't need me for permanent status...So these are all things he knows, and we have discussed.
