Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

In this brief statement of your marriage to an Egyptian man you mentioned you left for the UK to have your baby. I have been told that I would not be permitted to leave Egypt while I am pregnant and still married. Is this true? I have no desire to divorce my husband, I simply wish to go back to the U.S. so that my children will have a safe future. However, my husband has been giving me grief.
