Taking it Slow

Thanks for sharing.

I would point out, first, that no one should blame you for liking the attention of someone younger and exotic. But that's not the main issue.

The problem is recognizing what is going on. Taking is slow probably sounds good on the surface, but ultimately, Katey, there's really only so much information you're going to get from him on-line, over the phone or through mail.

There are a lot of red flags here that you recognize, Katey, and this is simply not worth your time. You are still young and can still find someone in your own country and do not need this drama. There are no easy answers or "quick" fixes even if you do take it slow. And foreign liars and scammers are quite patient, Katey. They will wait months or even years before getting what they want and then one day they are gone.

You deserve better, Katey!
