iranian citizenship through marriage

Once the western woman married to an iranian man enters Iran,

her passport gets confiscated at the airport.

She cannot leave Iran without the consent of husband or family,

because iranian law applies on her. She is treated as an iranian woman

That includes: she is not allowed to travel by bus, car or bycicle alone, anywhere.

She is not allowed to go shopping by car even!

She is not allowed to leave the house with out a family member (man).

- Can you imagine to live like this?????

And most important to know: she cannot leave Iran ever again, if he decides so!

Many western girls do not know this before they go to visit "his wonderful family"...
