Committed to an Arab Egyptian Muslim

Like most of the Girls here who have fallen for a man of a different faith, I end up heart broken and confused. Desperate to agree on everything that could make him mine but not when I am also firmly grounded on mine. He is a moderate muslim, a good doctor, He had his years of being lawless like drinking and committing sex outside marriage so I thought I mean he won't be as rigid as most muslim men are. I am in a relationship with him for almost 3 years now and unfortunately before our 3rd Year anniversary next week we agreed to broke up to the issue that we can't agree what religion our future children will have. He is not compelling me to become muslim at all it was never an issue. But things like marriage ceremonies where it will take place etc are some minute issues causing headaches. Any advices. Ideas. I love him deeply. Im going insane and im soaking everyday in my tears. But I can bear seeing my children especially daughters under rigid restriction of islamic laws :(
