Well your story is pretty much more than amazing cause not all arabs in general are soooooo nice in the topic of "faithfulness" "virginity" or marriage... I can say I had an experience for three years with a lebanese guy that started as a fairytale just as yours... It started with a facebook inbox and then loads of beautiful words and lovely msgs... I felt weird at first but then i was just falling in love cause as u said i was so vurnerable and heartbroken.... It all went great the first year...

On february 2011 i started feeling weird because of how often he was mentioning he loved the idea of having american-lebanese babies.. this made me feel aware and called my attention cause wasnt normal... Then i started college and my mind was between his happiness and my career so as soon as I finished we were getting married, but the it all changed.. he became just a monster, abusive, violent, bad words all the time, jealousy 100%, always thinking I was cheatibg on him while I was always college-home-college-home it was horrible but i was lying to myself by saying "he loves me soo muchhhhh and thats why he dkes this everyday".

To make it shorter I left him and he tried to kill me..... Then I met an iraqui man, 28 yrs old and opposite to the lebanese this guy is educated, nice, speak my language perfectly (spanish) my family loves him, he take care of me, protects me, he is never jealous, he doesnt care about my nationality, hes trying to get the citizenship by his own effort not forcing me to marry him. He suffered a LOT in Iraq with the war and he lost his place, part of his family and lot kore but he just decided to overcome this slowly and he's making a new life, he did the refugee stage here and hes now having a normal life here. He's with his family and they are all nice and normal. So you can find all type of people everywhere is not only cause of being arab or being hungarian or latin or fremch.. you will find good guys or bad ones everywhere but be careful and aware of every signal he give u. Tc of yourself and god bless u forever and may this relationship be the best one for you.
