Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. It will hurt me, but I'll leave him, and I'll move on.

I recently addressed a few issues I had found in his background and he insisted we concentrate on the future not the past and he asked me to promise not to pry into his past anymore.

So, after reading this, it's time to let this go...I wish I would have read this yesterday, I bought him the ring...
