Muslims and humanitarianism

From my personal experience and research I do believe that Muslims are only allowed to help other Muslims. To give people monetary gifts they have to be deemed worthy. Worth translates to Muslim first and foremost. I realize this sounds harsh but it is what I have discovered. It is not a religion like we are familiar with- it is an absolute way of life that is ripe with rules for every single thing. Muslims are not supposed to befriend non-Muslims because the non-Muslims may try and turn them from their faith. I do not think a strict Muslim man would find any satisfaction what-so-ever in doing charitable things for other faiths. In fact, they are not supposed to do so. They can work and make money doing it- but the money they earn will go back towards other Muslims to further the cause of spreading Muslims throughout the earth.

The man I loved actually cried when I began to read the Quran. I found that very touching. However, it was more about the rewards for him after death by converting someone to the one true faith than it was for me. Harsh but totally true.

They really are not like us and it will make us vulnerable because we have nothing to measure but with our own yardstick and sensibilities- but they do not apply to this faith. They just do not.
