Egyptian boyfriend

This is giving me anxiety. I have known him online for almost a year now. We talk via Skype. I fell in Love, he swears his undying love. I am scheduled to fly over there first week of January. I am jewish, living in the U.S, but still have German citizienship. He says he doesn't care, just wants to be with me. Citizenship status of no importance. His family of lawyers and teachers, invited me to stay with them in their house. I trust educated people and they seem very open, up-front and definitely not fantatical. I don't know what to do????? I hear positive and negative comments. HELP!
