Emma:

First of all, I am sorry to hear of your difficulties.

Second, whatever you do, do NOT send anyone you meet randomly on holiday abroad money! I can pretty much promise you that you won't be seeing that cash again. I would still advise you, however, to report to this the Home Office.

Third, you have to understand that when you go on holiday that scammers will target, either intentionally or unintentionally, you because you are a single woman with kids. We see it a lot on here with both holiday and the internet.

Fourth, you're very unlikely to find "true love" on a short holiday. True love takes more work than what usually happens on holiday where you are supposed to be relaxing. But nonetheless, you need to be aware of these scams!

Fifth, I understand this hurts. I've been used for money before by someone more local. Just know that you are not alone, learn from you mistakes, and be more open to meeting a man for romance within your own borders. '
