I wrote comments on here in 2006 about ending my marriage to my Turkish husband and the relief our daughter felt at being able to be a normal teenager No regrets about ending our marriage Life has been a struggle having to hold down two jobs creating a stable home for myself my two teenage children plus my mother with dementia Choosing not to enter into any more relations has given me chance to reflect and have contentment

You cannot merge two different lifestyles and religion one person has to give way In my situation it was not possible I was main earner he had joined me in a genuine love match My faith was stronger than his He hit our young son violently when he was 4 months old because he kept crying with colic This put more pressure on me as I could never leave my husband alone with our babies He started to hit my older children and I had to report him to police to stop him He stole money from my bank account when we separated to send backstop his cousin in turkey who was setting up business He took money from me to fund himself marrying his cousin in turkey after we married After we divorced he never paid alimony for his children

But here we are in 2013 He went off with his brothers girlfriend got rid of his second wife in turkey I have survived and am happy Our two children are fully European well grounded and no trouble Our daughter is studying healthcare at university and has only had one long term boyfriend who she lives with Our son is 18 and going to uni in September to read law But the old shadows are still theft

Even though I divorced my husband in 2006 he has pressured me to drop the alimony case which he owed over 10000 pounds Once dropped he wrote to my solicitor asking for a share of my pension So to circumvent this I have drawn down my pension And finally my husband has signed a consent order to leave Me alone This still has to go back to court to be signed by judge I get the martial house which I fully funded he keeps the villa in turkey which I brought and paid cash for But I am happy He is not settled his family in turkey live in the villa

He lives with his current lady friend in Stevenage England She rules theIreland life in a house funded by her elderly mother His lady friend is retiring soon He works 12...13 hours a day delivering things in a van He has no security owns no house here and no pension The house in turkey is poorly repaired and he funds his mother in turkey I know that I have had the best option to escape from the marriage

On the other hand he has been in England now for 21 years and gained nothing He has lost his identity his religion He even eats pork I go to my local church With my head held high Just fround a lovely guy to spend the rest of my life with My kids are happy and going forward to university and good futures There is a god up there
