To CandyEyes: Clarification of Who's Who

Hi Candyeyes

You have to understand MOST importantly that just because there are no immediate warning signs that does not validate the relationship and the reason why some people just give up for what seems to be no good reason on these kinds of relationships is because they have a nagging doubt and it's just too much of a headache.

So you don't have to catch him withdrawing your bank account or chatting with another woman to know that this doesn't feel right. Feminine instincts exist for good reason.

If your relationship really was stable, what gets said on here would not affect you and I don't believe for a single second that you don't have doubts.

Just admit the situation for what it is!

I don't you think you trust him and how can you if he's a former scammer of some kind? Believe me, Candyeyes, you have to ask yourself why he would stop just on your account?

You also say "well, I don't have that much." If he wants to marry you for a VISA or just likes being with someone different (yes that is a reason why the relationships described on here and yes it cuts both ways).

Listen, men who want something other than a serious relationship leading to a happy marriage and children go after desperate women.

It's a given.

Furthermore, you are still talking about bad luck with British men. Your luck with men from another nation or ethnicity should not directly impact your reason for staying with him. You are effectively telling me that if you could have a British man, you would have. That happens on a lot on here but you can't use that as an excuse to justify your current relationship which is one of those warning signs that you think you don't have!

And talking on skype and having a "good time" there and then again in person does not mean that talking on skype will give you the same communication as it would in person.

The reason why con-men (who will marry mostly within their own culture) talk the same as genuine men is because they have to get what they want---it's a sales pitch.

Candyeyes, I'm concerned you're going to get burned here sooner or later, especially if you are older than him, which is another red flag in frankly any romantic relationship these days.
