@ Isis -Modern Islam when ??? where??? how???

Dear Isis,

I would really be interested to know what is it that you call Modern Islam and what does it teach? How is it possible to make a religion modern which prohibits the slightest modification or distortion of its book??? How is it possible to modernize Islam, when Islam is created to be static and it is strictly forbidden in the Koran to deviate from the words of the Prophete and the Prophete is a very bad example to follow, sorry to say, but if the role model is him, then 2/3 rd of the muslim population are already surpassing their own prophet in virtue, morality, humanity and in faith. So my question is this: what is modern Islam??? Modernity is a relative term. Compared to what do you claim to be modern??? Compared to those who kill their sisters when they bring shame on the family by losing their virginity?? And what does modernity consist of, because if you allow women to work, date, dispose of their own bodies freely, decide of their marriage and the number of their children on their own, decide over their sexuality and birth control on their own ( as muslim men have been doing since the beginning of times) then I must say you are NO LONGER MUSLIMS and you contradict the teachings of your own book. So could you please share with us some details of what modernity means in Islam??
