Fifi: I understand the frustration, Difference between this forum and rest of site

Thanks for your nice response.

As far as the site goes, I don't pay much attention at all what is said outside of this board.

So I really cannot comment too much on that.

Usually whenever politics or foreign state-related issues come into play on this particular webpage, it tends to involve women who are going to great lengths (ie writing long essays or excuses) to justify a bad relationship or marriage. It does happen.

I've also said that a nation is not going to risk damaging international relations with another country because a handful of its citizens make bad relationship choices----or even take the risk when there are no glaring red flags--- and that immigration officials are more on the outlook for terrorists, human and drug traffickers and people who blatantly are in some kind of scam than they are about whether or not a particular person will be happy with a foreigner.

But that's really as far as it goes.

And I can understand the frustration if you are married to a Muslim person and see bad comments about Islam. It's people who obsess over it that concern me.
