To Layla!

Hello - You are kindly welcome Layla! My heart is with you as you begin the painful process of "letting go." I would indeed LOVE to exchange e-mails with you, but I do not know how or where on this site to obtain your e-mail address. If you don't mind, would you please display your e-mail address in your next response? Thank You!

Layla - First - understand - you being here at the "Daniel Pipes" is a start in the right direction, as this will help you to acknowledge the changes that need to be made. After all - one cannot fix what they don't acknowledge, right? So with that being said - I am happy that you are here. :)

Layla - I think you know what I am going to say next - and that is - "GET RID OF HIM" - Please! I fully understand the pain associated in doing so Layla - FULLY- I have been there - full throttle! But it's extremely important that you cut through the pain and get to the other side! YOU and every other women are worthy of a healthy relationship and you MUST believe this! Layla - From my own personal experience - I too married a Muslim man - with all the promises - and flowery words of romance - and the scenario of - " Happily Ever After". There are NO happily ever after's with these men Layla - there culture - upbringing - value's and most importantly 'religion' is opposite ours. It just doesn't work! PERIOD! Some may try to defend Muslim men - and- so be it - but I'm here to tell you - any intelligent women would get her senses together and make a bee line for the next exit! That's EXACTLY what I did when I caught my Muslim man red handed in one lie after another! That's ALL it took for me - regardless of how much I felt my heart loved this man - No matter HOW MUCH he claimed he LOVED me to the MOON and back - It simply did not matter anymore - I believed in myself and what I am WORTHY of - and that is what I'd like to see you do as well! You can choose your exit Layla with whatever you feel comfortable with - be it - you tell him frankly that you are done and the marriage will be dissolved - OR - you just cut all tie's (like I did) and move forward from there. There are plenty of us with resources to guide you through to the end - and - remember - You DO NOT need HIS approval or anyone else's upon doing so. What's important is: YOU get YOUR life BACK - and - WITHOUT - this man.

Life is going well for me. It has been post 3 months since I left my broken heart in Egypt. Mr. Muzzy has tried to contact me, but naturally, I have not responded and I NEVER will - EVER! Although, 98% of myself has moved forward - I have also taken my experience and am furthering my education regarding Islam and also the culture of Middle Eastern people. It's frightening what I have learned thus far - and so very backward and dysfunctional, least to mention all the TERRORISM that is attached to Islam. Therefore Layla, you are doing yourself a HUGE favor by getting out now -

I am here for you - anytime - and will check back soon in hopes to hear from you!
