To the one who disagrees with RX , Read on !!!

I understand and agree that not all Moroccans are bad , but my general experiences there were not good , I didn't feel safe at all .. I spent a lot of time in Morocco for work and as a tourist .. The local women that I worked with didn't feel safe either and warned me never to go out alone at night !! I totally agreed as the men cannot walk past you without making some sort of leering or gesture , this is the mentality but it makes you feel very uncomfortable . To give you some examples : - My business colleagues arrived from America , we were in Tangier , as we walked out to restaurant the men were driving passed us sticking their lips to the windows , peeping the horn and trying to pull us in the windows of the car , this is normal and acceptable behaviour ?????

I visited some small towns and watched some young girl tourists getting pestered by young men as they tried to sit peacefully in a cafe and read their books .. My colleague was attacked many times and her apartment was broken into .. I frequented what I thought was a reputable restaurant in Mohammadia , i usually left around 10.00pm , but on a few occasions i stayed later and found that it turned into a seedy sex shop by 11.00pm , they parade the young girls on the stage , it's sickening !

My X was not surprised , he also felt so ashamed but went on to tell me that most of the couples that we shared the restaurant with we're prostitutes on hire to the men they were dining with .. Great place !!! To answer your questions , yes I was with my x when the police took his passport , we were awaiting to take a flight that evening so he didn't have time to complain to anyone , he tried hard not to give in to paying the money but they told him he could be charged for being with me without the relevant paper ..

When he received the package which should have contained the watch I was not in Morocco , so can't really comment further as he had already warned me that the customs pinch items daily there so he was never hopeful of receiving the watch .. My X represents many Moroccan Men , scamming is big business or Bezness as its becoming famously known in those countries , they can be found in the resorts , in restaurants , working as waiters , targeting foreigners to improve their lifestyles , or you can see them in the many net cafes day or night sweet talking some poor unsuspected fool who doesn't know what she is letting shelf in for .

I agree that Morocco is a beautiful country , its coastline is outstanding , but its a seedy den full of prostitution and drugs , thats what gets offered to you if you are in the bars .. So based on my experiences during the long periods living in Morocco I would not recommend anyone to go there if they want a peacefully and relaxing safe zone for their holiday .. RX
