Sharm is the worst place to meet an Egyptian guy! It is THE gigolo resort. Most of the men there come from poor, traditional families in Upper Egypt, and they're usually married to religious Egyptian women OR are looking to raise money to pay for one. Uncultured, they come to beach resorts like Sharm and Hurghada with the hope of using women for sex and/or money. They dress like modern men but it's all an act. The English woman probably isn't the only one - these men usually have harems from the UK, Germany and Russia.

To answer your question, no not all Egyptian men are like this. But a good looking guy working in a low level job in a beach resort, using the internet to meet women is not going to be one of them. If you really want an Egyptian guy for whatever reason, it's best to go for a Copt from a modern, middle class family and a stable job.

I can see from your post that you're in Egypt now, hopefully not to meet him?
