To Cindy; Canadian Woman, Muslim Man

My Muslim man asked me for some money last week, but he said he feels much shame asking for this and he has started a new job and will have his own money soon and would never ask me again for any. What should I think of this?

Anytime someone solicits money from you on-line in a relationship, it's really really bad sign and a good indicator that this is not real.

You should be alarmed. Rarely do liars and scammers ask so directly for money, as far as him "feeling bad about it"....what a bunch of hogwash! If he felt so bad, he wouldn't ask.

Then today, he asked me what I was wearing when I go out today and to take picture to show him, and to let him know when I go downtown and when I am coming back again.

Sounds like the type who would keep inside all day for fear of someone looking lustfully at you.

We live in different countries and yes he is much younger than me.

Another sign this isn't real and possibly a VISA scam attempt.

I am sucked into all of this and although I feel sick with worry about this relationship, I feel I may be one of the above women adding my horror story to this forum.

Won't happen if you end it.

I hope I can save myself before this, that I will find something that show he is caught in the act, maybe another woman on facebook will come forward and email me or something

Listen: don't wait for that confirmation. You have all the evidence you need....MORE than enough, in fact.

It's quite clear this is a scam. The e-mail you want may never come and it's not uncommon with on-line dating to just be left feeling flattened. I've been through it with women and many other women have had the experience as well.

You have to accept that you may never find all the answers you want. That's the nature of romantic relationships, and if you stick around, he's just going to try and rope you in deeper, which he seems to be really good at.

Sure sounds like it! He's pretty much in total control here. He knows that you are reluctant to leave him because you are older and unsure and he's putting a clinic, textbook strategy on you.

You need to ask yourself if you would put up with this from a Canadian man who is your own age, race, and religion. I doubt it, and you shouldn't.

The same applies here. I get that you like the attention from a younger, different foreign man, what woman wouldn't?

I'm convinced you're on the verge of being used.

I am a smart woman who is being not told the whole truth by him I think.

You need to cut him off completely. Change the password on your facebook (and don't give out your account information. For starters, you could still be liable for what happens with it and it really doesn't do squat to build trust and love.

Block him, change your number, delete your dating profile, uninstall your instant messengers, do whatever it takes in this regard to cut the cord.
