Egyptian Man, Canadian Woman, On-line Relationship

1) If you feel like you are going to hurt yourself, you need to check into a hospital or call these folks.

2) If you feel threatened by someone in your life or think that person is a danger to others, please consider filing a police report.

I feel that even though he is in Egypt and I am in Canada, he owns me somehow. If I don't sit on the computer and talk to him all day long, he gets a little upset and wants to know where I was.

That's a sign of an insecure or possessive (even both) man. He sounds like one of those who will keep you in lock-down after a marriage out of his own paranoia.

My marriage to my ex was awful and I just regained my confidence from that, and now I feel that if I continue this relationship with Mohamed, that I will be in for an even harder hell than ever and I would kill myself this time around. I almost did a few times during my marriage to my mentally abusive ex husband.

Before you pursue a relationship, I think you need to get some professional help. Given your current state of depression, (let's call it that for now) it's no wonder why you feel "owned" by someone you suspect is just playing around with you on-line.

Women are divorced (or in your case preparing for a divorce) and particularly older women are frequent targets of scammers.

I have doubt he's been a sweet talker. But that's how all of these start out.

You really don't have to say anything.

My family is begging me to please listen to them Should I call the embassy and tell them to please not approve his visa? Maybe I should do that today!

You need to contact embassy and let them know that this relationship is not working and that you suspect you are being used for a VISA.

If you go through with this and he leaves he, it's my understanding of Canadian law that you could be financially responsible for him.
