young love

I am in my early twenties n I'm american. i have a university degree n while studying i lived alone in egypt for 3 months. i met a young egyptian man online after returning home. i talk to him everyday by text phone n skype. i have seen his mother n neice on cam numerous times n he also has a university degree. we were distant friends for a while but two months ago we fell in love. i love african middle eastern culture n study the music dance n other aspects of history. i have told this man about my past bad sexual experiences n about other traumas n he is still with me. i am a bit unusual n unexperienced in love as is he? I love this man deeply n before him i never considered marriage or love realistic. i want to go back to egypt and try to further our relationship. everything i read is very negative but i have never been so happy in all my life. i am also a muslim convert. i don't want to bevafraid n cynical about men as i was in the past. i don't want to miss out on something special. we r from similar backgrounds n i am a historian n he has a computer science degree. is this young love or am i just too naive? I feel i have met my match. i am deeply in love n have never felt so important understood in my life.
