sorry for your bad experience

I.m sorry his family treat you that way, I have to say even though I'm divorced from my egyptian husband his family never treat me bad, we used to go to my brother inlaws and party on the roof they didn't drink but they were ok with me drinking. They loved to laugh and have fun they always treat me like family. It's just a pity my marriage ended. They will always be family to me. But like you I learned the hard way it was mental torture he only ever hit me once but I shocked him when I hit the bugger back he never did it again
