not as complicated as some may think

humans are subject to human nature no matter where they may originate from. Only part that religion changes about human nature is the religion that is actually adhered to and that varies from person to person. I would study the actual culture of that person's family more closely in order to get a more accurate read on anyone from anywhere, ever. Also education level of the person as well as their family and hometown. My expeience has been this, the way a person was raised and how they interact with parents and family also how they have lived their own life thus far is a good indicator of how they will be with me. Sounds to me he has been clear and honest about his intentions......you would benefit by finding out how much experience he has w/ the opposite sex because in the arab world it truly is much more limited than here in the west.

.so although he may talk about his intentions it may be coming from a mind set of limited knowledge and especially wisdom. from my observation and experience the marriage happens fast and then as westerners we think now the honeymoon and full blown married life and why not because we already know each other well and have decided. but for those who mixing w/ the opposite sex has been frowned upon, not allowed, maybe illegal depending on the country. for muslims after marriage the courting/dating has just begun. this is not always explained depending on the persons world exposure and especially education level.

Just FYI. I asked myself one question. .could i be with this man just the way he is without feeling i want or need to change one thing about him if yes then i felt it was going to be ideal bcz i knew i loved him. After almost 10 years all is good and getting better. Now something ive recently had to acknowledge...what i knew about him before we married was only what he wanted me to know and that info came through our conversations. Because of our limited contact and not knowing each others family or even friends...how could i know all that much. Satisfy your own requirements and do not succumb to his only....this is the life you will live not anyone else so make sure it is designed the way you need it to be for you, what u will do and cannot do....because its who you are and what u need and dont need in order to have stability, harmony and peace. That you are respected and can respect him in all circumstances
