Look, step back and ask yourself, Would I tolerate this kind of behaviour were it coming from an Australian guy? Not only has he cheated on you, he is now trying to use you for residence! Wake up, woman! What makes him any different from your typical player... the fact that he's Middle Eastern? Strip away the sweet nothings and the exotic accent and you will find that he is no different from the kind of jerk you hear about in advice columns. He clearly doesn't respect you one bit, I am saying this for your own good. I would bet that he's seeing someone else in Cairo, which is why he doesn't want you to visit.

I used to be like you, finding it hard to let go of a guy, getting reeled back in etc. But once you get used to cutting them off, it almost becomes addictive. That's because I have learnt to respect myself and, as a result I'm angered whenever I feel like somebody is trying to take me for a fool.

Remember this, if a man really loves you not only will he try his hardest not to hurt you, but he will do whatever it takes to see you.
