Not All Egyptian Men Are The Same

I had to comment on this post. I have been married to my Egyptian husband for many years (15) and have recently become Muslim. We have had a tremendously happy marriage and we consult each other in everything. My husband is my best friend, my lover, my protector, my provider, father of our son, and so very much more. He walks our dogs, he bathed the baby and fed and changed him, he helos with the shopping and housework so I am afraid that you are making general asumptions. I have met many British women, Muslim and Non-Muslim, who have been happily married to Egyptian men for years.one for over 50 years. I acknowledge there are some bad ones out there but each must be taken on merit. I had bad relationships with some right swines in the UK so please do not class all men as the same, wherever they are from. The only thing I will say is, you must embrace the culture. You are not at home and you cannot expect it to be the same. I wish the lady luck in the future.
