Thanks for your response... I have read and re-read all the horror stories and for sure know all about the state of the country and the way they treat women which was really my main reason for leaving as he had not directly done anything wrong.... But yes he is very jealous and controlling and I found that over the year we lived together of course that chipped away at me! Sorry to hear that you found out you were being used.. It's not a nice feeling I am sure... I suppose I struggle with the fact he could be a nice guy as never did ask me for money and was not keen on coming to uk even to visit..

But since I left he has proposed marriage so he can come and try and live as he can't live life without me. Of course being back in the uk with clean streets and being able to go out to the cinema and nice restaurants and nip to asda is a refreshing change from the life I was living so I am focusing on that just when I have down days I miss the romance and companionship.. He has tried to make me feel guilty telling me I don't love him cos if I did I would do anything bla bla bla but he doesn't understand what I gave up and will be giving up if I live there with him... My life will then only revolve around him as friends are few and far between as most are older British women or Russian girls..

There are not many my age who have stayed... The only one was a girl who is now married and can't drink and been forced to cover she can no longer wear a bikini etc!! She did tell me her husband changed after marriage and she married within 2 months.. But she has lived there 5 years now seems happy most of the time but did tell me if she knew then what she knows now things would be different!! But weirdly she never told me don't do it!! Anyway thanks again for your advice I am just counting down until I start work and get back to normality as all this is causing me upset and grief... Scared I could let him go and not be happy again but know that's just silly talk and once my confidence has returned I will be more than fine.. I have been dieting and exercising and lost 1 stone so feeling better... Not that I am a large girl just he always tried to feed me with crap and I gained 2 stone which made me feel unattractive so want to get myself back to where I was..
