Give yourself some time

You say you've been back nearly a month, that is not much time. Of course you are looking to the past since you do not have a present yet. Make an effort to go out more, meet people, build up your life again and he will fade away, especially when you can replace him in your head and heart. If you know it can't work for you, stop torturing yourself and make the effort to move past it. Who knows who you will meet, maybe the love of your life (and not living in Egypt....)
