It may seem heartless to smirk at some of these posts, but seriously come on! Women dating, Pakistanis, Syrians, and Egyptians- of course they want your citizenship. have you not seen how awful their home countries are ... ?

I grew up Muslim, and in the states. And been living the gulf region for a while and married a gulf man. And let me tell you it shames him ever ask anybody for money let alone a woman.. Secondly EVERYTHING in this country is handed to the gulf men even if they are hard working, still they don't have to but they are raised to work hard and support their families.

Mine never wanted my citizenship of US and why would he. this country is slowly and sure going down. Thats a whole different topic, but personally from my opinion there are plenty of christians and catholic men who do all the awful things that are mentioned by you women. So their religion or nationality is bullshit. And Catholics are the worst if you ask me. Anyways back to my point he never even wanted to live in the states just to study here and then move back to his country, and i had the honor of doing so with him. And who in their right mind would pass up a chance to live and marry in in Dubai? People only dream of vacationing here and I am actually living here on a daily basis. It's a shame that you women had to go through this. but if you ask me don't marry or get involved with a man without knowing more about him. How he grew up, about his family, are they poor? wealthy? what was his lifestyle like? Etc.. not just the fact of of "hes a romantic man, and spoils me with love.."

Just so you all know I am happy with my choice and would not have it any other way. Just stay away from the Syrians and Egyptians and Pakistanis. I mean here in this country those nationality especially Egyptian and Syrians have the worst reputation amongst the women.
