I differ in opinion

My experiences differ from Ms. Sara Philips. I have extensive experience with Iranians, their culture and I speak Farsi. I have a dated plenty of Arab men from all over the world and now have been married to a Turkish man for a 1.5 years and dating for 4. The experiences western woman have with Middle Eastern men differs because everything depends on the type of guy you meet regardless to where he is from. A lot of woman online struggle with Turkish men, but most of these men are uneducated and come from poor families, so they are looking for a way out.

My Turkish husband was raised very differently, he has an American PhD and has lived in the US since 1990's. He is very loving and fair, not much different than American men, but this comes from his upbringing. Prior to marriage a few of my ex's were Iranians, I found them to often be educated, cultured, refined, but extremely materialistic, they put too much emphasis on education and money. I have found that they tend to sugarcoat things and sometimes flat out lie and cheat. I have seen a few successful hybrid Iranian/Western unions, but most of the time, Iranian men view Western woman as promiscuous, poor mothers and usually marry Iranian woman and I am just speaking of the Iranians living in the West. I stay away from the religious Iranians, they tend to be too "ugga ugga manly men" for me.

One thing I will say, Iranian men expect to be waited on and they expect to keep your mouth shut and not complain regardless to what they do, they also whine too much but if they love you, they will spoil you with material things, they also seem to be good dads.. My experiences with Arab men depends on the man, some are good, bad, liar, cheaters, searching for a green card. I prefer Turkish and Iranian men, I find them to be a better match for me, but you have to be selective with any man.
