I am currently married to a Turkish man and have been threatened with divorce every time he doesn't get his way. His mother is mean and manipulative, but he thinks she is an angel. He is controlling and unreasonable and lets his family and friends walk all over me. I become the bad guy if I react in any way to their mean, disrespectful, or dishonest behavior. I am just about ready to throw in the towel after eighteen years of being the best thing that ever happened to him and his dysfunctional family.
